    Great article! I am a huge fan of HIIT workouts, because of the tendency for long periods of cardio to damage the joints as the muscles become fatigued and absorb less force. I suffered an overuse injury a few years back that turned into a chronic condition, so I am glad to see people promoting alternatives.

      Hi Ian, thanks for your comment – and i agree, high intensity in short bursts is the way to go, as regular “cardio” joggers for example can often develop knee / hip or back issues. And the great thing is, HIIT works equally well for both men and women.
